Okay there is alway an adverse look when someone says "let's get chicken at the supermarket ". I admit, I was firmly entrenched in that thought. Until now.... this Super Saver has beyond a doubt the best fried chicken in this city hands down. We purchased a twelve pack of legs and white meat. The aroma while in the store was basically the best smell in that area. I know each store has their counter that sells their brand of bird, but this is excellent. We were brought in from a suggestion from a friend. They buy it in bulk when they have large family get togethers. Well this is now the place to get fried chicken. Little secret.... when the older crew is making the recipe, this is the best! They have been at it for years and the taste proves it. Don't change a thing! Excellent and now I have to make potato salad to go with this! Thanks guys!
I am usually there in the dead of night, so you would assume that the cashiers would be annoyed by my presence wishing I would go away, but most of the time I am greeted with a smile and nice conversation!
